Aphelion and Aperture
Aperture
Charcoal is an amorphous form of carbon. It’s existence implies extreme heat in the absence of atmosphere. The cosmos is the same. To draw a circle with carbon is to connect the hand and eye to the vastness of space and the heavenly bodies. Light from heat. Darkness from emptiness. The immeasurable mass of the stars. Trillions of rotations and orbits mimicking the mechanics of atoms, animating the elements. An infinity clock in which time and gravity are interlocking cogs, marking the passing formation and reformation of all things.
