What's Here
These works explore the formal character of found wood and simple geometry. Weathered by the native elements of New Mexico and the passage of time, they are unique and un-repeating. The landscape has etched it's signature on each object inscribing them with the soul of this place.
Triangles and hexagons have been chosen for their simplicity, symmetry, logic and strength. They are non-traditional art formats, but familiar as common symbols of social order (such as traffic signs) and carry familiar authority.
